Lessons from the Acts Church about starting something new

June 23: Youth Excursion
The Youth Group is planning to go river tubing in Townsend, TN after the Sunday Service on June 23rd. Transportation, lunch, all tubing fees, and a devotional time in the mountains is provided. The cost is only $10 per student. Deadline to sign up is June 16th.
June 16: Father’s Day Service
Join us for our Father’s Day service as we remember and honor the positive fatherly figures in our lives.
July: Youth Group
This July, the Lost Creek Youth Group will be meeting weekly for a Bible Study on the parables of Jesus. Meeting time and location will be announced soon!
July: Sermon Series: Short Stories by Jesus
Jesus often used striking stories to teach his followers about the Kingdom of God. Join us as we delve into Jesus’ ministry of story-telling and consider what these poignant stories may teach us today. Begins July 7th!
July 1st: Summer Scripture Reading
Beginning on July 1st, Lost Creek folks can participate in a summer reading and scripture memorization challenge. There are categories for adults, youth, kids, and pre-schoolers. Challenge details and booklets will be available on June 16th.
July 21-26: Youth Camp & Youth Service Sunday
Youth Camp dates for this year are July 21st-26th. Cost is $100 per student but scholarships are available. On July 21st (The Sunday our students depart for camp), we will have a send-off for our campers with a Youth Service.
August 4th: Cereal Potluck/Blessing of the Backpacks
Join us for our Back-to School Service where we will pray for our students and teachers as they begin their 24-25 academic year. We will celebrate this time together with a Cereal Potluck where everyone brings their favorite cereal to share.
August 11th: George Fox’s 400th Birthday Celebration
This year, Quakers around the world will celebrate the 400th birthday of George Fox. Save the date to enjoy food, fun, and special presentations in celebration of the founder of Quakerism.
